A giant thank you to the local chapter of The Military Order of the Purple Heart for their recent donation. This week, Mr. Earl Williams and his lovely wife presented the Fort Hood Fisher House with a generous donation. We are so grateful for the love and support we receive from the wonderful members of our community. This support enables our mission of providing a “home away from home” for so many military families. — at @forthoodfisherhouse.
“GIVING” “THANKS” on THANKSGIVING DAY.
A VERY SPECIAL THANKS to the Fort Gordon Spouses and Civilians Club (FGSCC), its members, and Wife Savers in coordinating and donating the Thanksgiving meal on this Thanksgiving Holiday for the Fisher House Families, thus truly giving meaning to the word “GIVING” “THANKS” on THANKSGIVING DAY.
COL(R) Jack Bryant & Mrs. Joanie Bryant picked-up and delivered the main thanksgiving meal on THANKSGIVING DAY, November 28, 2019, from Wife Savers to the EAMC FISHER HOUSE – FORT GORDON, while other FGSCC members (Dianne Haab Davies, Heather Cross, Colleen Arnold, Kelly Family – Lauren Kelly, Corey Szczypka, Krista Harty, Cheryl Rector and Erica Campuzano) dropped off some of the other Thanksgiving meal items for the meal a day or so earlier.
The Thanksgiving Meal provided and coordinated by the Fort Gordon Spouses & Civilians Club on THANKSGIVING DAY for the Fisher House Families was definitely great and very much appreciated. The Fisher House Families were treated to a catered and donated THANKSGIVING Meal which consisted of Fried Turkey, Honey Baked Ham, Gravy, Bread Rolls, Green Beans, Cranberry, Dressing, Biscuits, Corn Casserole, Sweet Potato Casserole, Mashed Potato, Bread for Turkey Sandwiches, Deviled Eggs, Salad Tray, Party Tray, Vegetable Tray, Fruit Tray Pumpkin Pie, Pecan Pie, Cookies, and Milk and etc. at EAMC FISHER HOUSE – FORT GORDON on 28 November 2019, on Thanksgiving Day.
I would like to take this opportunity on behalf of the Fort Gordon Fisher House Families, FH Staff, FH Volunteers and myself, to say Thank You!! To ALL that provided the items encompassed with the Thanksgiving meal and the continued support,
