The Fisher House Families were treated to a catered and donated full THANKSGIVING Meal which consisted of a Fried Turkey, Ham, Hawaiian Bread Rolls, White and Rye Bread, Green Beans, Cranberry, Macaroni & Cheese, Dressing, Rice, Sweet Gherkins, Olives, Corn Bread, Potato Casserole, Banana Pudding, Pumpkin Pie, Pecan Pie, Apple Pie, Cake, Cookies, Potato Chips, Milk, Tea and etc. at the Fort Gordon Fisher House on 24 November 2016, on Thanksgiving Day. As well as receiving a poinsettia. The Thanksgiving Meal that was provided and coordinated by the Fort Gordon Spouses & Civilians Club on THANKSGIVING DAY for the Fisher House Families was definitely great and very much appreciated. Thus giving meaning to the word Happy Thanksgiving on Thanksgiving Day. I would like to take this opportunity on behalf of the Fort Gordon Fisher House Families, FH Staff, FH Volunteers and myself, to say Thank You to ALL that provided the items encompassed with the Thanksgiving meal and in continuing to support, coordinating and donating the Thanksgiving meals on Thanksgiving Holiday for the Fisher House Families, thus truly giving meaning to the word THANKS on THANKSGIVING DAY.
