We would like to extend our thanks allll the way to Robertsdale, Alabama! The Robertsdale Rotary Club recently named us as their International Project for the Year! We are so appreciative of their support!

Mr. Carl Davis, the Robertsdale Rotary Club President, was recently in the area and stopped by to tour our two houses.

Thank you again!

Last week, SSgt Barry Davies and SSgt Robert Gangwish, representatives of the AFSA Chapter at Spangdahlem AB, stopped by to donate two car loads of supplies! These supplies were collected to provide comfort and care for the many families who stay at the Landstuhl Fisher Houses while receiving medical care at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center. A certificate of appreciation was presented to both SSgt’s for their hard work in coordinating the effort on behalf of the AFSA Chapter.

Thank you for taking the time to ensure the comforts of those calling us home!

COL Joseph Bird (DDEAMC’s Deputy Commanding Officer) and CSM Thurman Reynolds (DDEAMC’s Troop Command CSM) welcomed and greeted Mr. David Sparks, Mr. David Watkins, Mr. Clay Parks, Mr. Bih Johnson, Mrs. Jessica Murphy and Mr. Thomas Cade Callihan with Americas Home Place on September 16, 2016 at the Fisher House.  The individuals were given a briefing and tour of the Fisher House by Mr. Cruz (Fisher House Manager) and answered questioned asked by the group.  Afterwards the individuals with Americas Home Place presented and gave a check donation to COL Bird and CSM Reynolds for the Fisher House.  See attached picture of the event.

Thank you to the Fort Bragg Fisher House for taking us in for the day to celebrate World Humanitarian Day! We had so much fun learning all about how the Fisher House came about and meeting your current residents. What an amazing organization ! The Fisher House is run solely on donations and anyone who needs to stay does so free of charge. We all left with warm hearts!♥

A big shout out to The Second Brigade Motorcycle Club, Chapter C located in Carlisle, PA! They raised $2,784 during their “Support Our Troops/Remember Our Veterans Poker Run” on July 23, 2016. Their support to the Army Fisher House Program does so much good for our military Service members, veterans and their families who are experiencing some very trying circumstances. Their unwavering support is greatly appreciated. — THANK YOU!

We donated $75 to Fisher House tonight plus a huge pile of paper products and cleaning supplies. I love that we are able to support local charities! — with Lorie Southerland and Anissa Short.
